Art in Action is a nonprofit that empowers students through arts education. We provide diverse visual arts curriculum, materials, and training around visual arts lessons that develop critical thinking and creativity through hands-on-learning.

Art Studio: Bring your team together for creative play and testing of a lesson
This team building event allows your staff to create art and test our existing lessons in a fun and interactive setting. Art in Action leads one of our exploratory art lessons designed to innovate education for lasting lessons around cultural awareness, social justice, art and healing, STEAM, and digital and media arts. Refreshments available at additional cost. Proceeds from this event go to bringing arts education to elementary and middle schools.
Design Studio: Use your expertise to transform education
Join Art in Action staff as we design a new curricular unit! We want to work with you to transform how kids learn. Your team members can join us as a group or as individuals to help design lessons around cultural awareness, social justice, art and healing, STEAM, and digital and media arts. If you have expertise around these issue areas, application development, videography, or are simply dedicated to AiA’s mission, we want to hear from you. Together, let’s transform learning. The gift of professional knowledge can make a lasting impression.
Build Studio: Team volunteering that brings art supplies to schools
The Build Studio events support the packing of our ARTboxes for schools. These events enable us to keep costs low for schools, getting art materials into as many classrooms as possible. Each box is composed of all the art materials a classroom needs for a year’s worth of art lessons. Our goal is to connect volunteers with our mission while engaging in meaningful team-building experiences.
Art in Action Kids
AiA wants your next Bring your Kid to Work Day to be a memorable one. AiA staff will organize a fun and engaging activity that supports children’s access to arts education.
Happy Hour Benefit Event
