A Night of Art, Community, and Giving- OBJECT:ART 2024

What a night! Last month, Art in Action hosted its annual fundraiser, OBJECT:ART, and it was a truly special evening. As the new Marketing Manager, it was my first chance to meet incredible Art in Action educators and thank the dedicated volunteers who attended – especially those from our amazing partner groups, The Junior League of Palo Alto - Mid Peninsula and One Brick Silicon Valley. Being a remote employee, I don't always get the chance to connect with our volunteers face-to-face, so this event was a fantastic opportunity to express my gratitude for all they do.

The night was filled with unforgettable moments:

  • Art Visionary Award: Seiler LLP received the 2024 Art Visionary Award in recognition of their long standing support for Art in Action's mission.

  • Mystery Wine Draw: I participated in the mystery wine draw (because who can resist a little intrigue?), and let me tell you, my luck was in! I scored a fantastic Chardonnay from Equinox Winery for just $25 – what a steal!

  • Live Auction: One lucky attendee won an incredible prize in our live auction: a 10 day stay for 10 lucky people in a charming cottage in Ireland! The dream of a beautiful Irish getaway, anyone?

  • Scholarship Support: Judy and Wally Sleeth's event sponsorship of $30,000 kicked off the Fund-A-Need to support the Art in Action Scholarship Fund. Along with other generous supporters, the funds raised will ensure that more children have access to quality art education this 2024-2025 school year.

From the heartfelt connections to the exciting auction wins, OBJECT:ART was a night to remember. It was a powerful reminder of the incredible community that supports Art in Action's mission of bringing art education to life for children. Here's to another successful year of fostering creativity and artistic expression! Hear how the generosity of our donors impacts our students.
