Creative Connections Conversation: Recharge Through the Arts

According to the National Institutes of Health, “Stress is one of the world’s largest health problems, leading to exhaustion, burnout, and anxiety.” Long-term health and debilitating mental disorders can develop if not managed or reduced. Participation in the ARTS has been known to help combat stress and increase mental well-being and resilience.

Art in Action’s October Creative Connections event will offer insights into identifying when one is under pressure and how to use art to relieve and manage stress for oneself and others. Before the conclusion of the evening, participants will have the opportunity to recharge by engaging in an Art in Action art lesson.
