Art in Action volunteers perform an array of tasks that help us get art in the hands of schoolchildren everywhere. There are lots of opportunities to volunteer with Art in Action! For any of the volunteer positions listed below, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
ARTbox assemblers help reduce our costs to schools by organizing and packing grade-level lesson materials and art supplies that are used in Art in Action schools during the entire school year.
Volunteers of high school age and above are welcome. High school students can earn community service credit hours. Come by yourself, in a group or set up a corporate volunteer event for employees. Contact us if you wish to attend an upcoming packing day or schedule an event for your group.
Office volunteers provide general support for the Art in Action staff by assisting with data entry, filing, stuffing envelopes and other tasks as needed.
Do you or your company donate professional services? Accounting, legal, graphic design, database administration, website design, markets and curriculum development are examples of skills that are needed.
Due to limited financial and volunteer resources, some Art in Action schools need volunteers from outside their school community to teach the program. Volunteering at one of these schools provides an important community service.
College students gain valuable work experience in all areas pertaining to the business of Art in Action, from business operations to curriculum development. Art in Action accepts interns for the summer months and the school year.
Join a devoted group of volunteers to help plan and implement our annual spring fundraising event. Or, help out with guest check-in and behind-the-scenes logistics on the day of the event.
