Volunteer with Art in Action

You can literally help get art in the hands of students around the country by helping us organize and pack the materials or art supplies required at Art in Action schools. Volunteers of high school age and above are welcome. You are welcome to volunteer alone or in a group setting! Volunteering takes place in-person at our Art in Action warehouse so this is great for those who are local to the Bay Area.

As a growing non-profit, Art in Action relies on Pro Bono support for highly skilled services like accounting, legal, graphic design, database administration, website design, marketing and curriculum development. We work with individuals and organizations who are interested in sharing their skills to help us grow.

Due to limited financial and volunteer resources, select Art in Action schools often request volunteers from outside their school community to help implement or teach the program. Our passionate volunteers help make it possible for the students attending these underserved schools to enjoy art.

Art in Action's robust internship program accepts college student interns during the summer and throughout the school year, based on the organization's needs. Students gain valuable work experience in all areas - including but not limited to: business operations, fundraising, curriculum development, and more!

Join a fun and devoted group of volunteers to help plan and implement our major annual fundraising event.  We welcome volunteers who know how to throw a party!
