As a seasoned professional in marketing, digital strategy, and fund development in the nonprofit sector, Mizgon leads Art in Action’s strategic growth and program initiatives through new partnerships and funding sources.
Mary is in charge of strategic planning, board engagement, special projects, and general team assistance.
Director of Finance & Operations
Christian is responsible for managing AiA’s accounting, finance, and administrative functions, including management of internal control systems, development of the annual operating budget, and preparation of financial and management reports.
Director of Development
Cathy is responsible for donor and foundation relations, corporate giving, and special events.
Maggie provides customer service and supports the staff and Board of Directors. Previously she was senior administrator at EdSource, an education research nonprofit where she provided board and fund development support, and oversaw special projects.
James has 4+ years working in the nonprofit sector and will be responsible for improving operations in development, human resources, production and office management.
Director of Programs
Kelly provides program support and maintains the quality of the program in schools. She supports school coordinators, docents and works with the Program Committee to obtain customer feedback. She manages in-house and custom training at schools.
Mara identifies trends in arts education to enhance current curriculum and develop lessons relevant to current issues and topics.
STEM Program Imagineer
Working with schools in the Bay Area, Tony has crafted, integrated, and refined STEM and English learning experiences for students of all ages. Tony will focus on creating art-forward STEM lessons.
Business Development Manager
Jean is responsible for sales management and promotes the Art in Action program to schools and organizations. She manages all aspects of the sales process and is a key contributor in scaling the organization.
Business Development Associate
Katie is responsible for all internal sales and sales operations. She supports new schools through the on-boarding process and helps continuing schools as they renew. She manages our social media platforms and produces digital content.
Victoria manages organizes, and ships all art materials to Art in Action customers. She also organizes on-site volunteer service events.
Program and Product Associate
Jana provides content design and production support to the Program, Curriculum, and Product teams.
