Dear supporters,

Thank you for helping Art in Action spark the joy of art in school-aged children. In the 2023-2024 school year, your contributions impacted over 85,000 students; and I am asking for your continued support to nurture their creative spirit in the new school year.

Fall Giving Campaign

“An SDC (Special Day Class) student leaves the classroom constantly. The special education teachers have a really hard time getting him to stay in the class. When he sees me on the playground, he runs up to me and asks, “Ms. Bonnie, Ms. Bonnie, are we doing art today? Are we doing art today? Are you coming in today? Are you coming in today?” And when I’m there, he never gets up to leave. I think he loves art (because) it probably makes him feel like the rest of the kids at school…that they are part of the school community, that they get to participate in the same activities that the other kids
are doing.”

Art is not just an activity, creating art offers a much-needed outlet and a sense of belonging for children who struggle with academic subjects or feel out of place with their peers. Your support is instrumental in bringing Art in Action to students in different learning environments; helping them build self-confidence, enhancing cognitive skills, improving academic performance, and strengthening social connections.

Our goal for the 2024-2025 school year is to increase our impact by 10+% and, in 5 years, reach 200k students nationwide.

Your donation today will enable us to reach more students, expand our programs, and provide the tools and materials necessary for a vibrant arts education.

Every gift makes a difference. Thank you!

With gratitude,
