Celebrating Creativity: Art in Action Selected as Charity Partner for the SBFA Annual Art + Charity Sale

Art in Action is honored to be chosen as the nonprofit partner for this year’s Stephanie Breitbard Fine Arts (SBFA) Annual Art + Charity Sale, taking place online October 23–26, with a preview beginning October 21 at noon PST at www.sbfatrunkshow.com.

This much-anticipated event brings together an incredible lineup of artists whose works span a vibrant range of styles and media from whimsical characters crafted with Swarovski crystals, to soft, contemplative nature scenes, nostalgic photorealistic oil paintings, playful photography, abstract and kitsch works, intricate paper art, and modern reinterpretations of traditional subjects. Each piece tells its own story, contributing to a collective celebration of imagination and expression.

Take a peek at the slideshow below for a first look at some of the artwork that will be available during the sale! These sneak peeks offer a glimpse into the stunning creativity and diversity of styles represented this year.

This year’s sale carries special meaning for our team at Art in Action. As proceeds from the event will support our mission to bring high-quality visual arts education to children both out of school and in school, we are deeply grateful to SBFA and its artists for uplifting the next generation of creators.

Among the featured artists is urban artist Gordon Leverton, whose striking piece “Schemes” (37x37”, framed, exclusively priced at $1,500) will be part of the charity event. Leverton shared,

“It is my pleasure, and supporting children’s art programs is so important. Thank you for doing what you do. Two years ago, I traveled to Mexico City and created a collection of five pieces in 2024 ‘Schemes’ depicts a skyscraper view of an old colonial building. I’m a self-taught artist, and growing up I would have loved to have art programs offered in and out of school. I’m a big supporter of introducing all forms of art for children. I was very happy the gallery is supporting your program and hopefully makes a big difference to your young emerging artists.”

We are inspired by Gordon’s words and artistry; and by the generosity of all the participating artists and collectors who believe in the power of creativity to transform lives.

The SBFA Art + Charity Sale is a beautiful reminder that art connects us across generations, communities, and experiences. We invite you to explore the collection, discover a piece that speaks to you, and join us in supporting creative futures.
