Young Artist Juliette Leong Shares Her Passion & Her Platform

Throughout her exhibit, Juliette reminded guests of a powerful truth: “Art is a way to express yourself. There are no mistakes.” Whether she’s painting at home or teaching art classes to kids her own age, Juliette embodies the creative freedom we strive to nurture in every child.

We’re honored to be part of Juliette’s artistic journey and grateful for her support. Young artists like her show us what’s possible when creativity is encouraged early — and shared generously.

At just 9 years old, Juliette Leong has already built an extraordinary path as an artist — not only through her vibrant works, but through her deep generosity and belief in access to the arts for all children.

Our relationship with Juliette began in 2020, when she entered a national art contest with Humpty Dumpty magazine at the age of 4. Her winning piece earned the magazine cover and a cash prize — which Juliette chose to donate to Art in Action. Even then, she knew that art could make a difference, and she wanted to support programs that bring creativity into classrooms everywhere.

Fast forward to this year: Juliette hosted her first solo exhibit at BlueStream Gallery, where she showcased over a dozen original works. Rather than keep the spotlight to herself, she used the month-long show as an opportunity to give back. Partnering with her favorite nonprofits — including Art in Action — Juliette made it possible for proceeds from any sold artwork to benefit the organization of the buyer’s choice.
