Under Member Tools, click “Edit profile/Change password.” Do not click “Reset password” unless you have lost or forgotten your password and need to be sent a new one.
Enter a new password as directed in the “Password” and “Repeat password” fields and click Update. It’s not necessary to update any other profile information unless you just want to.
If you forget your password:
At the bottom of any board page, click the “Reset Password” link. You do not have to be logged in to reset your password.
The system will assign you a new password and email it to you. If you would like to change your assigned password, log in and follow the instructions above.
If you can’t log in with Firefox, or login behavior
with Firefox seems abnormal:
If your login doesn’t work correctly in Firefox, especially after having previously logged in successfully, first try quitting Firefox completely and restarting.
If you are still unable to log in, go to your Firefox preferences and delete any artinaction.org cookies. Then try again.
If you know a document has been updated, but you’re
still seeing the old version in your browser:
Follow your browser’s instructions to clear the cache, then reload the page. Or:
Click the refresh button in your browser while holding down the shift key. This should force the browser to reload the document from the server instead of the browser cache.
Also, you can download the document to your computer and open it with your PDF reader. You should get the updated version (be sure to open the document and look at it, because the file name will not change). Please contact Art in Action if you are still seeing the wrong information.
