Art in Action teams up with City Year to bring art programs to San Jose Schools
Art in Action is proud to announce that it has just entered into a partnership with City Year San Jose/Silicon Valley to bring our program as after school enrichment to twelve new schools in San Jose, California.
City Year, a member of the AmeriCorps national service network, is an education-focused national service organization dedicated to helping student and schools succeed. Its mission aligns well with Art in Action as both organizations strive to build creative, critically thinking students and school communities.
Students in these City Year schools will benefit from the Art in Action program:

Fischer Middle School
Mathson Institute of Technology
Donald J. Meyer Elementary
Ocala Middle School
San Antonio Elementary
Art in Action currently reaches more than 50,000 students in nearly 2,000 classrooms nationwide.
