Planning Your Art Show - Thursday, March 14, 2013 7-8:30 pm
This hands-on workshop for school art show curators and docents will help you design and produce an impressive art show for your school or a public venue. You will learn about promoting the show, getting volunteers to help set up the artwork, training student docents, and tips for mounting, labeling, and displaying student artwork. You will get ideas for creative and inexpensive ways to show off various projects and present impressive displays in the classroom, school office, public library displays, or your annual school art show. Clay Training Classes
Clay training is a group hands-on class offered at Art in Action in Menlo Park, CA. In this 2-hour session you will learn the basic clay techniques used in the Art in Action lessons. You will work with clay and do the project for your program level. You will learn tips from the experts about handling clay and how to dry and finish the projects. School Coordinator Fall Meeting - September 7, 2012 9-10:30 am and 7-8:30 pm at Art in Action office in Menlo Park
At this workshop you will learn about how to coordinate the Art in Action Program at your school. You will learn about new program features, new online resources, how to manage your docent accounts. Come and meet fellow Art in Action school coordinators, share ideas, success stories and connect with the AiA arts community. This meeting will also include updates on exciting upcoming events and opportunities at Art in Action. Register for morning session or evening session.

Creative Collage - Thursday, December 3, 2009, 7-9 pm
Just in time for the holidays, Artist Susie Peyton will lead a workshop on the art of collage. Collage art is perfect for greeting cards, calendars, and other creative gifts. Learn about fun activities for family holiday fun, and make a collage of your own. You will make a four panel accordion book with a collage on each page. Collage materials will be included but feel free to bring items that you might want to incorporate into a collage. The $25 Fee includes materials for the project. Register here.
