Using the Online Lessons in the Classroom

Techniques for demonstrating the material to the students

While the online lessons are primarily oriented at the educator, a lot of the material can be nicely shared with students if you have the ability to project. If you connect your computer to a projector, you can easily show images to the students. The one issue to consider there is that you have a loud enough speaker so that the students can hear the audio well. The second possibility is an interactive whiteboard. These devices have the added benefit of allowing the students to annotate the projected images on the whiteboard.

The following parts of the curriculum lend themselves well to sharing with the students:

• The artist picture and map on the Artist screen
• The concept videos on the Discussion screen
• The project and sketch videos on the Directions screen
• The assessment videos on the Assessment screen
