The Case for Giving

Funding through donations supports more than half of Art in Action's programming costs each year. While most schools pay for the basic elements of their programs—prints, curriculum guides, art supplies—the cost of writing and updating our curriculum, displaying student art work, and supporting underserved schools with limited parent participation is underwritten by the generous support of parents, foundations, and local businesses. With your help, we can continue to bring excellent art education programs to Bay Area teachers and students.

The Case for Volunteering

The Art in Action program thrives in classrooms and communities due in large part to the work of volunteers who help us train, teach, display art, assemble supplies, and plan events. By donating just a few hours of their time, our volunteers can make a huge difference in the lives of children who otherwise wouldn't have access to art.
