Art in Action thanks Hurlbut-Johnson Charitable Fund for their recent grant of $12,500. Funded through the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, Hurlbut-Johnson's donation will continue to assist us in bringing art to students in many of the Bay Area's Title I schools. Because of ongoing supporters like them, we have been very successful in achieving our mission of bringing a quality visual art program to children in the Bay Area. Many thanks to the Hurlbut-Johnson Charitable Fund and others for making a difference.

Foundation

Once a month, for the last 9 months, Art in Action has been fortunate to host a team of One Brick volunteers to help us pack ARTboxes. One Brick, a San Francisco-based organization, is a non-profit run entirely by volunteers who organize other groups of volunteers to support other Bay Area non-profits. Their efficient work and cheerful attitudes have been invaluable in packing hundreds of ARTboxes this year.

San Francisco Foundation

Art in Action thanks San Francisco Foundation for their recent grant of $10,000. This grant will help us expand our K-8 programs and teacher training to 50 new classrooms in Bay Area schools in 2008. It is because of ongoing supporters like them, that we have been so successful in achieving our mission of bringing a quality visual art program to children in the Bay Area. We thank them for making a difference.
