With more than 25 years of leadership and entrepreneurial experience in the profit and nonprofit sectors, Ken leads strategic planning and business development initiatives for long-term growth and sustainability.
Chief Operating Officer
Heather is responsible for the organization’s business and financial operations. Prior to Art in Action, she was director of corporate services for a Fortune 500 company where she managed real estate and office services.
Mara is responsible for foundation, corporate, and individual donor fundraising. She writes grants, manages the annual campaigns, and coordinates the annual fundraising event. She is the editor of the e-newsletter and the social media guru.
Kelly provides program support and maintains the quality of the program in schools. She supports school coordinators, docents and works with the Program Committee to obtain customer feedback. She manages in-house and custom training at schools.
Education Sales Manager
Jean is responsible for sales management and promotes the Art in Action program to schools and organizations. She manages all aspects of the sales process and is a key contributor in scaling the organization.
Education Sales Associate
Katie is responsible for all internal sales and sales operations. She supports new schools through the on-boarding process and helps continuing schools as they renew. She manages our social media platforms and produces digital content.
Lisa manages the production, organization, and shipping of all Art in Action products, including ARTboxes, art prints, and signature items. She also coordinates volunteer service days. She is a super volunteer and finds beauty in all things.
Trudy helps coordinate the production, organization and shipping of all Art in Action products. She also assists in organizing volunteer activities. Trudy is an architectural glass artist and currently teaches Art in Action at a Menlo Park school.
Maggie provides customer service and supports the staff and Board of Directors. Previously she was senior administrator at EdSource, an education research nonprofit where she provided board and fund development support, and oversaw special projects.
Public Relations and
Mary is responsible for marketing and public relations strategies that support sales and development and increase brand awareness. She writes news releases and the monthly e-magination newsletter and manages external communications.
Kaela is responsible for keeping the books such as entering invoices and grants, reconciling bank accounts, and paying the bills. A consultant with Art in Action since 2008, she has been doing bookkeeping for a variety of organizations since 1986.
