Art in Action, the Bay Area’s leading provider of visual art programs, presents its 8th Annual Summer Art show June 6 - July 31, 2009 showcasing over 1000 pieces of student artwork from 46 schools in San Mateo County. Art in Action marks the opening of the show by hosting artist receptions in honor of the student artists and their families. See below for dates and participating schools. Everyone is welcome to attend and celebrate the artistic talents of students within our communities.

Artwork is inspired by the Great Masters in which students learn to identify art styles and techniques. Students create their own masterpieces based on their growing understanding of the world of art. Art in Action provides schools with visual art curriculum for K-8 grades and summer ARTcamp throughout San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties.
