"EQ3: Artist’s Lounge Event Showcases Emerging Artists; All Proceeds Benefit Art in Action"

On Thursday, April 21st, the EQ3 modern home furnishings showroom located in South of Market, San Francisco will host a private event featuring original paintings by new emerging artists. This contemporary showcase will run from April until the end of summer and is presented with the intention of inspiring increased interest and deeper appreciation of the value of art.

The event will include refreshments, raffle prizes, silent auctions, and music provided by DJ Blest. All proceeds from the event will benefit Art in Action, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing high quality visual art programs to children across the Bay Area.

Since 1982, Art in Action has provided school-based art programs that help students develop an appreciation of art, an understanding of art history, and a solid foundation in art techniques. Through discussion of masterpieces and hands-on projects, students learn about the ideas and techniques of famous artists while expressing their individual creativity.
