Art in Action, the Bay Area’s leading provider of Visual Art Programs, has been awarded a $25,000 grant from the Peninsula Community Foundation. The grant will introduce Art in Action’s Visual Arts program to over 540 students in the following schools: Costano, Kings Mountain, Willow Oaks and Green Oaks Academy.
Judy Sleeth, Executive Director of Art in Action remarked, “The generous support from organizations like Peninsula Community Foundation enable us to bring Visual Art education to students who otherwise would have little access to art. We are grateful for their gift as it will enhance the education of many young students and enrich their lives and learning through art.”
Art in Action is a Bay Area nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing visual arts education to the classroom.
