2008 Schedule and Registration

Art in Action ARTcamps are weeklong summer art classes held for small groups of students in an exciting, nurturing environment. Students learn new skills, use a variety of media, and extend their understanding of art concepts. Summer ARTcamp curriculum differs from Art in Action’s school program curriculum, covering new artists and exploring different approaches. Daily projects incorporate a variety of skills and techniques, with an emphasis on each child creatively expressing his or her unique ideas.

ARTcamp Teachers
ARTcamp teachers teach the Art in Action summer camp curriculum at a school or recreation center. Art in Action provides the art curriculum, art materials and a hands on training session to ensure a fun, engaging experience. Teachers work Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ARTcamp teachers must be adults with teaching experience and/or art training. References, fingerprinting and proof of a recent TB test is required.
